Education of adversaries and the public about the facts of the dispute
Personal Commitment to nonviolent attitudes and action
Negotiation with adversary in a spirit of goodwill to correct injustice
Nonviolent direct action, such as marches, boycotts, mass demonstrations, picketing, sit-ins etc., to help persuade or compel adversary to work toward dispute-resolution
Reconciliation of adversaries in a win-win outcome in establishing a sense of community.

Erinnert ihr euch noch an Jason, den Argonauten, der das Goldene Vlies raubte? Er reiste damals nach Kolchis, nach Georgien; verliebte sich dort in die Priesterin Medea, und diese half ihm bei der Aufgabe. Danach fliehen beide nach Korinth.

Der folgende Auszug aus der Interpretation der Geschichte von Christa Wolf spielt in Korinth. Medea ist aus dem Palast des Königs Kreon verstoßen worden, und hat soeben das schreckliche Geheimnis entdeckt, auf das die Stadt gebaut ist.

R: I listed the 10 worst bugs I’d found during the weekend on the board. Next to each bug, I drew four boxes: Root cause, Fix identified, Fixed, Tested

R: I grabbed a handful of dry erase pens and rolled the board into the architect’s office and said, “This is all we’re working on”.

A: He stared at the board for 10 minutes and finally nodded, “Good, but each person needs their own color and you should assign points for each of the boxes. 10 points for root cause and fix identification, 5 for fixes and tests.”

R: “Points for what?”

A: “Points for points. We’re geeks.”
